  • Anuj Sharma

    Chief Executive Officer, Anuj has 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and most recently headed Mercuria Energy Group’s investments in Argentina. As the head of Mercuria’s Argentine subsidiaries, he led Petrolera El Trebol, SA (PETSA), Mercuria Group’s upstream Oil & Gas company in Argentina, to significant exploration and development success, which resulted in more than a doubling of the firm’s production and reserves. Prior to that, he was the Vice President and Director, originating investment opportunities for a multi-billion dollar family office in Houston, USA. Anuj also held positions in upstream equity research, and portfolio management for a large commodity investment firm, making principal investments in the upstream oil and gas sector and managing the firm’s unconventional shale portfolio in the US. He started his oil and gas career as an engineer for Schlumberger Oil Field Services. Anuj received his Bachelor of
    Electrical Engineering in India and MBA from Duke University, USA where he graduated with the highest honors as a Fuqua Scholar.Anuj in the short term will continue in his role at Mercuria as investment manager for Mercuria Energy Group’s investments in Argentina to facilitate a smooth transition.

    Corporate Finance Director, German Ranftl is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from CEMA, Argentina. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, having held a number of senior positions in International Banking and Capital Markets. Previously, German was Chief Financial Officer at EDEMSA, an electricity distribution company in the province of Mendoza, Argentina. He has also held position as Vice President in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking at ING Barings. German is renowned in the industry as a proficient professional in finance planning and analysis, having broad knowledge and experience in controllership and treasury duties as well as economic strategy and forecasting.

    COO, Holds a Civil and Petroleum Eng. Degree from the University of Buenos Aires. He worked 23 years in YPF as operations and planning manager in charge of Argentina and Bolivia. He was Head of Technical Staff of YPF where he oversaw more than 300 professionals. Previously General Manager of YPF in Mendoza in charge of Neuquina and Cuyana Basin.

  • Miguel Angel Marnetti

    Geophysics, Miguel holds a Chemical Engineer Degree and a Geophysical Degree. He worked 23 year for YPF in geophysics, processing and analyzing seismic data in Argentina. He has big knowledge of the Neuquina and Cuyo Basin.

  • Miguel Angel Gait

    Miguel Angel is a Geologist and PHD in Geological Science (National University of Córdoba) and he has a post-graduate study in Reservoir Engineer. He worked for YPF for 28 years in the Noroeste, Austal, San Jorge and Neuquén Basins. His last responsibility was in Mendoza developing fractured in the region of Valle del Rio Grande and clastics fields in Loma La mina, Loma Alta Sur and Cerro Fortunoso.
